The group

We are leaders in Italy in catering, banqueting and hotel food service areas, we represent a reality that has been able to combine creativity and research with an organizational capacity as a big plus.

We look beyond national borders and for over twenty years we have been experimenting new ideas in all areas of the highest level of catering service, from private ceremonies to institutionals, sports and corporate events.
The expertise and professionalism of our team have allowed us to achieve great goals: for two years in a row we went onto the winners’ podium at the King of Catering Bisol, the only competition in Italy that crowns companies that deal with Catering and Banqueting.

Fiercely , we won the Gold award in 2014 and 2015, thanks to our ability to look beyond, we were at the largest National event ,Expo 2015, with a restaurant management project, at the Italian Pavilion.

A new challenge, an ambitious project that has seen us together with the largest companies in the area.

We have always been involved in qualified “food safety” and “scientific communication” programs in order to guarantee our customers the highest reliability in food science and technology. The quality certifications on the environmental impact, as well as the ICEA certification relating to organic catering, guarantee particular attention to the environment in all stages of production and service.

MedEATerranea: It is the scientific division of Sire Group that deals with the communication of the company from an educational-training point of view, proposing itself to the market in an innovative and eco-sustainable way.

Made up of professionals in the field of Taste Science and Communication, it offers several activities, services and technical advice in various areas. Its goal is to spread knowledge and high-level technical and scientific skills in the tourism, agri-food, environmental and food and wine areas, guaranteeing efficiency and safety.

MedEATerranea guarantees food quality by proposing the gastronomic excellence of Made in Italy, in compliance with production standards to protect consumers.

 

Ecco Pizza & Pasta
Our most important challenge: Expo Milano 2015. We were at the largest world-class cultural and food and wine exhibition proposing a captivating concept through the products of the Campania agri-food chain and Mediterranean diet recipes.

Pizza and Pasta were the two main elements of the format. An important challenge from an entrepreneurial, organizational and in image point of view, but also an important moment full of opportunities for relationships and business.

Champions League & Naples football 

SIRE Group, which has always been close to the world of sport and sports nutrition, takes up the challenge of organizing, in the hospitality area of the San Paolo Stadium in Naples, the Champion’s Club, organized by UEFA for international sponsors (Nissan, Heineken , Htc, Mastercard, Unicredit, Sony, Pepsi, Lays) and their guests.
During all Champions League home matches, we take care of welcoming and preparing the dinner for about 450 guests tasting our specially-made menues.
After an initial brief with the client, the concept of the event has been conceived and built together with several visual designers.
The goal was to create an exclusive Club, a refined, trendy and innovative place, but at the same time welcoming and elegant. Backlit bar, counters, sliding tables with stools, indoor and outdoor colors made by a light designer, floral compositions made by a floral designer, a living room area for VIP guests, background music and corners for sponsors.

Great prominence has been given to the culinary/creative concept: from the presentation, made through Neapolitan finger food, to the tasting of a menu that looks at the tradition of the area, without losing sight of product innovation.
In each match, guests are served with a dish of the culinary tradition of the host team’s country, creating a real twinning not only in the field, but above all at the table, showing how food can put all people together .

The scientific division of the group

One of the secrets of our success is to know how to satisfy every new need connected to the culinary offer. Eating well is the first step to improve the quality of life, so we are always careful in the way we process food and we always choose a variety of foods that can play an important role in a nutritious and balanced Mediterranean diet, respecting sustainable development and less environmental impact. We observe new food trends through the Scientific Department and we never lose sight of traditional and local tastes, crown jewel of our cuisine. That has allowed us to obtain many awards as ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ISO 22000, Biological Certificated food-service.

Science at the service of education

There are no fixed rules for educating the child about the right way of life. But there are behavioral rules that common sense has transformed into essential ways of living.
Scientific projects are suitable for educational adapting in primary school, experiments and practical options prove to be the keystone for child’s educational assimilation.

To make this degree of behavioral correctness perpetual it is necessary to set up projects of scientific value at constant times in schools.
One of the most significant examples is found in Turin, with the “Acqua bene da difendere” project, through the RE.TE – Association of Technicians for Solidarity and International Cooperation, which sees the practical application of the following school disciplines:

 • Natural sciences (biology / ecology)
 • History and geography (discovery of new geographic areas)
 • Sciences related to the water cycle
 • Economic geography

The experiment consists of building a water filter with cotton, gravel, stones and sand. The main tool will be a plastic bottle cut in half.
In the mouth of the bottle the cotton is inserted, on top of layers of sand, gravel and finally stones, alternating them. In this way they simulate the composition of the soil.
Children dirty the water with earth and then pour it into the container created. The water flows through the various layers of soil and determines a series of easily observable chain events.
This experiment makes it possible to give value to an indispensable asset and feeds child’s curiosity towards natural phenomena, therefore towards science. Looking at a different geographical reality, through a collaboration of the CCM – Medical Collaboration Committee with the primary school of Manta, in the city of Cuneo, an interesting educational project aimed at nutrition was born.
The project tries to understand the children’s food preferences through very practical and intuitive games, based both on social cohesion and on the graphic application. Then follows a narration of the legends around certain foods, which are part of a healthy diet and which it is essential to learn to relate with .

 

The origins of food contribute to broaden child’s geographical horizon , who relates to places far from his eating habits.
Some examples are:

 • Honey – originally from the Americas.
 • Salt – originally from the Americas.
 • Rice – originally from Asia.
 • Cereals – originating in Europe.

The project is aimed at understanding extra-European food traditions and respecting all the cultures of the world. Following the same trend, the Don Bosco Institute of Frattamaggiore participates in the program created by Eat Parade for schools and centered on the themes of Expo 2015.

Students have dedicated themselves to various activities to make their contribution to Expo 2015!

First of all they created their own Facebook page, DonBosco4Expo. A page rich in content and updated continuously. They then participated in the various missions offered by the Together in Expo project.

In addition to participating in these initiatives, the effort was to deeply understand the issues that are dealt with and understand how to implement them in daily life (such as the waste of precious resources such as water, electricity, etc.).
